EXPERIENCE
I grew up here in Chicago. To me, it is the greatest city in the world. I know and enjoy the entire city. I have my favorite restaurants, friends and clients in every neighborhood. I love my life here and am driven to help my clients love their lives.
Design is my passion. I have been designing and decorating since I was a young boy. Raised in a large family, I was inspired by watching my mother. She decorated for every holiday, celebrated every birthday, and taught me that creating beauty elevates our attitudes.
After finishing design school, I spent years with Walter E Smithe where I became their top designer. There, I developed an expertise in fine fabrics, color, and furnishings. By 2006, my growing interest in contemporary - as well as traditional - design lead to a dream of creating my own design firm.
Today, my experience includes designing model homes, restaurants, offices,private residences, and much much more.. I love all of it.
Working with single, young urban-dwellers is of particular interest to me. Their thinking is so contemporary. Their sense of global citizenship resonates in their taste and style. I am inspired by their interest in other cultures, their concern for the planet, and their commitment to conscious living. With so much to draw from, helping these young clients express themselves in their space is always exciting.
